I moved to Juneau with my young family 12 years ago. Born and raised in the Carolinas, I developed a love of the coast and mountains. Living in Juneau gives me the opportunity to awaken to the beauty of both every day!
Out of the office, I love spending family time with my daughters Madison and Olivia, and my husband Billy, while fishing and exploring Juneau through dog walks, kayaking, and bird watching. Sewing and embroidery are also favorite pastimes.
Following 20 years of pediatric nursing in NICU, PICU and general pediatrics, I completed my Masters of Science degree and Nurse Practitioner training at the The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I've also served in the family practitioner role and feel this strengthens my perspective in the care of the whole family.
I also love getting to take care of my patients from newborn to adolescent every day as I watch them and their parents grow together through both challenging phases and rewarding experiences.
